Year 4 Canals and Rivers Trip

What a fun day we have had in Liverpool!

This morning, we enjoyed a guided tour of the Liverpool to Leeds Canal where we learnt all about the differences between canals and rivers. Our guide, Katie, was very impressed with how much the children knew about rivers and the Water Cycle. We were then able to take part in a lock demonstration allowing 2 boats to travel along the canal.

In the afternoon, we explored the Museum of Liverpool and learnt lots about the history of Liverpool.
