Editing Stations

Class: Year 4 Year: 2017 - 2018

We talked about how real authors edit their writing. Then, we set our classroom up with different ‘editing stations’- each one focused on improving a different aspect of writing. For instance: vocabulary, connectives, openers, punctuation and spelling and grammar. The children spent 5 minutes at each station editing and improving their diary entries about meeting caveman Stig from 'Stig of The Dump.'
