3 Little Pigs Science Investigation

In our Science lessons this week, we carried out an investigation to find out which material was the best at keeping the 3 little pigs' houses warm.

We worked in groups to sort and classify different materials and chose 2 materials that we thought would make good thermal insulators- wool and foam.

We planned our investigation thoroughly thinking about what we would need and how we would measure and record our data. We carefully observed the temperature of the 3 houses every 5 minutes using digital thermometers and recorded our results in a table. We found that wool was the best thermal insulator. We later recorded our findings in a line graph.
