Guy Fawkes Workshop

Lesson: History

Class: Year 2 Year: 2022 - 2023

Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed taking part in a Guy Fawkes workshop to mark the end of our ‘Heroes and Villains’ topic. The children participated in a range of activities including creating artwork using pastels and chalks, writing their own ‘secret messages’ just like the plotters and partaking in drama and role play set in 1605. We even put on a short performance for Years 3 and 4.

The children’s excellent knowledge of his historical event was clear to see throughout the day and everyone was thoroughly engaged in the different activities. Well done, Year 2!
