                  Hello from the Year 1 team!                 

In Year 1 we have two teachers Mrs Duffy (who works on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) and Mrs Taylor (who works Thursday and Friday). 

Here are the TAs who work in Y1:

Monday: Mrs Dixon and Mrs Mustard

Tuesday: Mrs Webster and Mrs Mustard

Wednesday: Mrs Webster and Mrs Mustard

Thursday: Mrs Webster and Mrs Mustard

Friday: Miss Hankin, Mrs Murphy and Mrs Mustard

On a Wednesday afternoon, Miss Chapman teaches us P.E and Mrs Suarez Barnes also teaches us Spanish .

Things to remember ............

Sports bottles (name on please)  filled with fresh water may be brought in and taken home everyday.  Children may access these freely throughout the day when they are working on tasks. 
 

Everyday, free fresh fruit is available at morning snack time or alternatively children may bring in their own healthy snack.


Please note in Y1, the blue bag is only for your child's home reader which is exchanged on a Monday and Friday.  Children need a separate school bag for everything else. Blue bags are only to be brought to school on a Monday and Friday.

Monday: 
Homework and spellings are given out in a homework folder and must be returned by the following Monday at the latest.   
Return homereader (in blue bag) to school.
Homereader (in blue bag) sent home.


Wednesday:
       PE lesson 

Children must have their PE kits in school at all times. It can be taken home at the end of each term to be washed and then brought back at the start of each term.

Thursday:

Library books are chosen by each child and taken home on a weekly basis.

Friday:
Return home reader (in blue bag) to school
Home reader (in blue bag) sent home.
Newsletter sent home. This can also be viewed on our school's website.

Annually: Milk money (£6.00) please speak to the school office.

Annually: School Levy £10.
