Year 4 Blog WC200921

Another great week has been had in Year 4. We continued our Come and See topic by exploring the story of Abraham and the children were able to retell his story and give reasons for his choice to trust God. In English, we have continued reading 'The Wild Way Home' ending on a cliffhanger in Friday's reading session! We will have to wait until Monday to find out who is in trouble and how Charlie will help them. We have also been practing writing descriptive sentences and the children have really impressed me with their outstanding vocabulary. In history this week, we learnt about hunter-gatherers and explored the forst area to see what assets we could find. Finally, it has been lovely to see the children choosing new books from our class reading area this week and completing book reviews for books they have finished and enjoyed.
