The children have settled back into school very quickly after the half term break!

This week we have learnt about the Sacrement of Confirmation in RE and the children were all able to describe what happens during Confirmation and discuss the signs and symbols you see during Confirmation.

We started our new topic 'Burps, Bottoms and Bile'. In this topic we will be exploring the digestive system. This week, we learnt about the different types of teeth and their functions. In English, we wrote a set of instructions explaining how to clean your teeth properly.

In maths, we are continuing with our addition and subtracion topic. The children have really impressed me with how well they have used colmn addition this week!

Finally, we had our first French lesson of the year! Our first topic is all about 'Les Legumes' (vegetables). The children's pronunciation was great and they played a matching game to check how well they could remeber the new vocabulary we learnt.

Have a great weekend and I will see you all on Monday!

Reminder:

Children need to bring their flutes into school on Tuesday's for their weekly music lessons.
