Monday 4th May Blog Week 5

Date: 4th May 2020 @ 11:36am

Good morning, everybody!

A very happy Monday to you all!

I hope you are feeling motivated and are looking forward to more learning this week!

I have done some yoga this morning, and I have another class this evening!

You can still catch Joe Wicks on YouTube! The weather is beautiful, too- so why not do a few laps of your garden? You could set yourself a target of 100 laps for the week! You could also make your own fitness video, just like Joe Wicks- the possibilities are endless!

Wonderful work ideas:

BBC BITESIZE:

Maths: today they are using White Rose examples to go through grid method multiplication

Writing: Setting Descriptions using some spooky examples!

History: Ancient Egyptians

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/zhgppg8/year-5-and-p6-lessons/1

White Rose Maths also have some excellent lessons you can catch up on, too!

Reading: For those of you that have been enjoying reading on Serial Mash (Purple Mash), and have run out of the Chapter and Book Reviews, I have attached a copy of both at the bottom of the page!

Keep up the work on Rockstars. I will be setting some SPaG activities on Purple Mash for you to have a go at, too- so keep an eye out!

BLOGS:

More and more of you are blogging and commenting, which is fantastic! Just a quick reminder for you all to check your grammar, spelling and punctuation before you post. Let’s get into the habit of checking our work on the computer, too so we don’t forget those skills when we are back in school.

Keep up the great work, all of you!

Finally, today is ‘Star Wars Day’ and ‘National Orange Juice Day’ (apparently)

Here are some fun Star Wars Games you could treat yourself to after a hard day’s work;

Speak to you all tomorrow. Have a great day!

Miss Davies 😊
