Did you all have a lovely break? I bet you all had so much fun!!

For your writing activity this week, I would like you to write a recount of your half term holiday. Think about all the fun you had and talk about your break, with your family. Can you remember what you did on Monday? Can you write about it?

Top Tips For Writing

1. Say your sentece out loud.

2. Chop your sentence.

3. Count how many words you need to write.

4. Write your sentence ( Remember to use your robot arms, to help sound out words you want to write)

5. Check your sentence. (Read it back, does it make sense? Does it have the correct number of words in?)

Are you all reading lots of books? It is very important to keep practising your reading. Do you have a favourite time of the day to read a story? Perhaps, you like to read when you wake up in the morning, or do you like to read before bed time at night? Do you have a favourite place you liketo sit and read? I would love hear all about your favourite places to read smiley
