Date: 16th Jun 2020 @ 6:36pm

Good Morning Y3.

I want to start today with 2 BIG shout outs.  yes yes

Annabel, your Greek project work is fantastic - well done ! I love how you have set out your work. It is really eye catching. I can't wait to read it. Keep it safe until school re-opens and then you can share it with everyone. laugh

And the second shout out goes to Harrison for this fantastic 3D model sculpture. Rather than creating a sculpture in the style of Gormley, Harrison created his own sculpture with a Coronavirus theme. Well done Harrison.

Boys V Girls Rockstars Update

I got very excited at lunchtime yesterday when I looked on Rock Stars and saw that the girls were beating the boys for the first time. laugh However, when I checked again later in the day, the boys were back in front with a score of 1627 to 1268. To be fair to the girls, there are 8 boys currently playing for the boys' team ( Harry, Liam, Max, Joseph, Jacob B, Jacob R, Evan and Harrison) whilst there are only 4 girls playing for the girls' team (Heidi, Annabel, Sophia and Isla L). Come on girls - log on to Rock Stars and help your team mates defeat the boys and boys, if you haven't played yet, why not have a game or two to help your team stay in front.

Today's Work:

Look back at Monday's blog to see a suggested timetable for today. All activities are explained and activity sheets are attached to Monday's blog.

Yesterday I had a lovely chat with Annabel, Liam and Harry. It was really good to speak to you children and I was really pleased to hear that you are all still trying hard with your work. I know it is hard to keep motivated, but if you keep trying hard, you will be ready for Y4. Jacob B, I also spoke to your mum and she told me that you are also trying very hard - which is great to hear. Kaitlyn, I did ring your mum's mobile and I left a message.

I will try to ring some more of you today. I have meetings in the morning, so it will be after lunch. Listen out for my call. laugh

Take care everyone. Try to complete some of your work today.

Here are today's two riddles:

1) What invention allows you to look right through a wall?

2) I'm as light as a feather, yet the strongest man can't hold me for more than 5 minutes. What am I?

If you know the answers, send them in to me on our class blog. laugh yes
