End of year blog - Year 6

Date: 21st Jul 2023 @ 8:31am

Well, we made it! The past couple of weeks have been extremely hectic in Year 6 (but also really fun).

I'd like to start by saying a huge thank you to all parents and carers for their gifts, cards and messages. Myself and Mrs Hankin have been truly overwhelmed by your generosity.

The past couple of weeks have really been action-packed for us: we have performed an end-of-year production for over 130 people, spent 3 days at Robinwood, produced a beautiful leavers mass at church and have even managed to squeeze in an end of year trip by going bowling yesterday. We've made the most of every last minute with our children at St. Mary's, and we would like to give a special mention to the parents who offered their time to transport the children to and from the bowling alley yesterday. Without you, we wouldn't have been able to go on the trip and make the lasting memories we made, so thank you!

To our beloved Year 6 children, we want to say how proud we are of each and every one of you. You have taken this year head on, showing fantastic resilience and determination. You are more than ready to take the next step in your academic journey, and we can't wait to see what amazing things you will do in the future.

Have an amazing break and please keep in touch! We'd love to hear how you all get on at high school.

Much love,

Mrs Naylor and Mrs Hankin

xx
