Songwriters in the making!

We really enjoyed this week, writing our own verse for the well known nursery rhyme 'London's Burning'.  We then had the exciting task of composing a musical accompaniment to go with our song.  We chose different instruments that best suited each line of the song and talked about rhythmical patterns using the phrases like 'London's Burning', 'Fire, fire!' and 'pour on water'.  We will show you the finished article after half term!  Watch this space!
