Home Learning Week 7 Friday
Date: 21st May 2020 @ 7:11pm
Happy Friday Year 3.
Last day before we break up for our 2 week half term holidays
A special SHOUT OUT today to Jacob B who has completed lots of super work on Purple Mash. I've attached his Cyclops and VE Day work to today's blog for you all to see. I was really impressed with Jacob's work.
SHOUT OUT to EVAN and ADDIE. Evan now tops the Year 3 leaderboard with a fantastic time of 4.38 seconds. Addie is now second with a time of 4.58 seconds. Also a big well done to Liam, Joseph and Harrison who all have an average speed lower than 6 seconds. This is great children. To pass your tables check next year you need to answer all questions in 6 seconds and under! You're doing that already - WAY TO GO
Bitesize Daily Learning:
Maths: Friday is Maths Challenge Day. Have a go at the problems. Challenge yourself to solve numbers 3 and 4. If you can solve them - WELL DONE - as they are aimed at 7-9 year olds.
English: Reading Comprehension day today. Learn how to identify the main points in a passage; how to summarise an extract and develop your skills of prediction. I've also attached 2 further sheets - 1 for summarising and 1 for predicting - if you want to develop your skills further.
Music: Do you know what dynamics are? Have a go at today's activities and you'll soon become an expert! The lesson uses clips from the BBC Ten Pieces - I know that you use these in school with Mrs Taylor. This is a fun lesson to finish the half term - so why not have a go.
That's it for today Y3. I'm keeping it short and simple
Have a lovely half term. Stay safe. Be good and I'll speak to you all in 2 weeks.
