Top of the morning to you all Year 3
I hope that you are well and that you are all enjoying the sunshine. It is going to get even warmer, so take care if you are spending lots of time outside. Remember to wear a hat and apply sun cream.
Did you manage to complete yesterday's Sports4Kids Football Challenge? If you did, don't forget to let me know how you got on.
Today's challenge is CRICKET! If you want to see how the challenge is done, visit the YouTube page to watch coach Adam. Today's 5 challenges are: 1) Throw and Catch - 2) Target Practise - 3) Hitting the ball - 4) Throw, Bounce and Catch and - 5) Reverse Catch
Don't forget to make a note of your scores and send them in to me at the end of the week, so we can see who is the class champion in each of the challenges. If you haven't completed any of the challenges - you can start today. It's not too late .
Tomorrow's challenge is SOCK BOCCIA
Although the weather is lovely outside, do try to do a little bit of work today. If you are following the suggested timetable that I uploaded on Monday, you should be doing the following:
Wednesday - Maths, English and Science. (Light and Dark) 15mins of times tables and half an hour of reading before bedtime. A sporting activity.
Whilst the weather is nice, why not read your book outside rather than at bedtime? If you haven't made your mobile in the style of Calder yet, it might also be a good day to this as you can make lots of mess outside You could also have a go at the Paper Table challenge that I set you yesterday. This too can be done outside.
Have fun in the sun and I'll be in touch again tomorrow.
