Canals and Rivers Workshop - Year 4

Lesson: Geography

Class: Year 4 Year: 2021 - 2022

The children took part in a workshop led by the Canals and Rivers Trust today. They really impressed Katie with their knowledge of rivers and learnt about the differences between rivers and canals, the history of canals and thought about the pros and cons of living near a river or canal. They used a sandpit to build a mini canal and some of the children even got to dress up as canal workers! Have a look at some pictures of the day below.
