Home Learning Monday 30th March

Date: 30th Mar 2020 @ 10:20am

Good morning everybody!

I hope you have all had a wonderful, fun-filled weekend in the lovely weather we’ve had!

I can’t quite believe Monday is here already!

Did any of you manage to watch the live video from Chester Zoo? My favourite was the Red Panda!

Hopefully you have all managed to complete your first book on Serial Mash by now and have completed your chapter reviews and a book review for it? Some of you may have even been reading other books alongside your Purple Mash book, too. It is so important that you read every day, guys. Why not make it fun by reading a page at a time with an adult or sibling if you can, or ask them to question you on it?

Also, you should be making good progress on your Maths/ English booklets by now, too. I wonder if any of you have come across something you found difficult, but didn’t give up and completed it anyway? That is something to be proud of!

I really hope you have been learning lots about Brazil, too. I am interested to see if you have found out anything I didn’t know when we get back to school!

SHOUT OUTS:

A great big shout out to the following people for the marvellous diary entries they sent me on Purple Mash. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing from you and all about the fantastic things you have been up to! It made my week!

Oliver S                         George                          Dylan                          Molly                        Maya                        Sonny

Times Tables Rockstars:

The ROCKSTARS from last week are Dylan and Molly! Well done!

Keep using Times Tables Rockstars, children. It is so much fun and it will help lots with your Demon Tables when you get back to school!

On another note, it is so refreshing to hear that some of you are taking time to do other things at home such as baking, gardening, playing football and dancing, as well as much more! Use this time to do these things, as it isn’t often we get chance to do them in our busy lives, and now you all have the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and spend quality time with your families.

Here are a few more things you might enjoy learning about with celebrities:

Don’t forget that David Walliams is still releasing his stories every day, too- a great way to relax!

I will be posting on here every morning so keep visiting! Also, keep an eye on Purple Mash and Times Tables Rockstars for more activities you can complete, too.

Have a great day, and remember to have some ‘me’ time, too!

Stay safe and I'll speak to you tomorrow,
