Stone Age Poems

Lesson: Literacy

Class: Year 4 Year: 2017 - 2018

During Poetry Week, the children have been drafting their own poems based on our topic, 'The Stone Age.' To begin with, the children worked in groups to thought shower vocabulary related to the Stone Age. We reviewed this as a class and then thought about different poetic techniques (such as similes) and how we could incorporate these into our poems. The children had some fantastic ideas and final versions of their poems will be completed next week.
