Mrs Hymers came into Year 6 on Monday afternoon to tell the children about Takashi Murakami, a Japanese contemporary artist known for his use of colour and incorporation of motifs from Japanese traditional and popular culture. The children researched Murakami and completed a fact file about him. They then used examples of his art as inspiration for their own art work.
