Year 4 Blog WC130921

We have had another busy week in Year 4. This week, we have begun our first Come and See topic - People. We explored the people we see in our daily lives, created our own family trees and learnt about Jesus' family tree. In English we have been inspired by the story 'Stone Age Boy' to write post cards as if we travelled back in time to the Stone Age! In History, we learnt about timelines and created Stone Age timlines in pairs. In Art, we have been finding out about cave paintings and have created amazing title pages for this topic in our sketch books.

We were also very excited this week to  have a new space themed reading area in class! This area can be used to relax with a great book after working hard.
