Hi Everyone, 

Hope you've all had a relaxing and happy Easter Break.  We have been busy, as usual, in Y2.  We've finished reading "Toys in Space" and have done some lovely written work.  We made a HOCTOPIZE  and then wrote a set of instructions explaining how to make your own Hoctopize.  In the story all the toys play party games so we played a game of pass the parcel. James won the prize, and guess what? It was one of the lost toys from the story. How good was that!

In numeracy we have been outside and we cracked the code to rescue one of the characters from "Toys in Space" using our knowledge of position, direction and movement.  How clever are we!

In science we are beginning to look at habitats.  We explored our outside space to see what animals and other living things we could find.  It was great fun.
