Hello again, you lot.

How are we all? I hope you're all excited about coming back into school next week; we've got lots of exciting things planned for you! It's going to be a great week.

As it's your last week of home learning, let's make it the best one yet and get as many tasks done as you can. Remember, please keep up with your reading and times tables. You'd be amazed at how quickly you can forget things if you stop practising them regularly.

Yesterday, in school, we learned what a carer was and the kind of responsibilities they might have. We also watched some amazing videos of carers going above and beyond to make their clients as happy as possible. They took them ice skating, went on a waterslide, had a garden party with mocktails and celebrated VE day outside, where a spitfire plane flew past. Carers really do an amazing, selfless job, which is so important.

After watching videos and being inspired by all of the jobs that carers do, we decided to produce our own recipe for a cracking carer! You can see some photographs of our work at the bottom of this blog. If you haven't done this already, why not have a go today? If you visit the Glad to Care website, you can watch all the videos we watched under a tab called 'amazing stories'.

Today's BBC Bitesize:

Maths: Angles in quadrilaterals

English: Shakespeare Reimagined

Drama: Responding to a stimulus

That's all from me for now. I will be in touch again tomorrow,

PS for those attending St. Peter's in September, I haven't forgotten about your English work- we haven't had the books delivered to school yet, but rest assured I will send out a text once they arrive so you can come and pick one up.
