Visit to Year 1

The children we're so excited to visit the Year 1 classroom this week while our current Year 1 children were working from home. The children noticed things that were similar to Reception such as the dolls house, the drawing easel and construction. They noticed some things were different too. The children said the tables were different as well as the whiteboard and even pointed out some new maths resources they'd never seen before. The children were most impressed with the three computers Year 1 have in their room and not two like we do in Reception!

We will continue to visit other areas of the KS1 base over the next couple of weeks so that the children become familiar with the cloak room, the dinner hall and the toilets.
