Tuesday 23rd June

Date: 22nd Jun 2020 @ 12:36pm

Good Morning, everyone!

I hope you are all well and that you had a productive day, yesterday. In school, we looked at Monday's activities in the home learning pack I attached to yesterday's blog. Some of us found the area and perimeter tasks difficult (remember- they are compound shapes, so to work out the area, you need to split up the shape and work out the area of the separate shapes and add them together). I also attached the answer booklet so you can check your answers, too.

Today's BBC Bitesize home learning lessons:

Maths: Calculate the area of a triangle

English: Analysing and performing scripts

Geography: Florida

How are you all getting on with your tasks for this week? Yesterday, we started to look at Mimi Revencu's work and we really liked some of the paintings. We talked about the kind of lines and colours used, what mood we picked up from the paintings and what we thought its name might be before being told its official title. I hope you're enjoying looking at Mimi's work- it's very vibrant and busy!

That's all for today. I will catch up with you again tomorrow!
