Morning again, Year 6!

We are almost at the end of yet another week of home learning. I hope you are all getting on with lots of work to keep you all busy wink. We've been very busy in school completing maths and literacy in the mornings and then some other themed tasks in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, I taught the children in school how to complete a sudoku, so we have been warming our brains up by completing these as a morning activity. If you've never tried it before, ask a parent to go through it with you and give it a go! It's quite enjoyable once you get the hang of it.

Today, BBC Bitesize are providing you with the following lessons:

English: Alliteration

Maths: Find quarter of amounts

Music: How and why singing makes us feel

They look great (as always). I particularly like the look of the lovely alliteration lesson- you should all be able to do that easily! The music lesson looks great, too. Have a go at them and let me know what you think.

How are you all getting on with this week's tasks? Are you enjoying learning all about carers and how vital their job is to our society? In school, we have been really inspired by these kind, caring people who dedicate their lives to putting other people first.

Yesterday, we designed 'thank you' cards for carers and wrote our own poem to go inside them. We have decided to drop them off at a local care home so the carers working there can receive some appreciation and grattitude for all of their hard work and dedication.

I will speak to you all again tomorrow. Nearly Friday, guys!
