Morning, everyone!

How are you finding refugee week? I hope you are enjoying learning more about refugees and that you are feeling grateful for your safe, secure and loving homes.

Yesterday, you were asked to write a letter to a refugee coming to our country to explain to them how safe our country is and what school is like in England. In school, we found this really interesting and it made us think about how lucky we are. I have attached a picture of a couple of the letters we wrote in school for you to see.

We are really enjoying refugee week and have definitely learned a lot about them.

Test your knowledge!

Can you write a definition for the following terms?

Refugee

Migrant

Asylum Seeker

Persecution

Today, I would like you to do a little bit of research for me. There is a fundraising campaign called 'Nobody Left Outside' which aims to help refugees. I would like you to research this campaign, find out what kind of things they do and present the information in whatever format you choose. This could be a mindmap, a poster, a leaflet, a speech or a report.
