RE 

We have started our new topic- Community. Each one of us belongs to several different communities, e.g. our family community, the school community, the area where we live etc.  We thought about the classroom community and the ways in which individuals help make the class community a happy one. 

Literacy 

We read the book- Escape from Pompeii. We used powerful verbs in our writing to describe how the characters ran away from Mount Vesuvius. 

History 

We were extremely excited to start our new topic this week. We researched some questions that we had about life in the Roman times and found out some interesting facts. We then ordered main events on a timeline.
