STEM Fun!

Date: 25th Mar 2020 @ 12:13pm

Today the children have taken part in some exciting STEM activities.

The children in the juniors worked in pairs to build the tallest free-standing tower they could using some very limited equipment such as sticks, marshmallows, cups and lolly-pop sticks. They could not use glue, sellotape or scissors. I'm sure you will agree that they have created some incredible towers!

The children in the infants worked in pairs to build balloon rockets. They built their rockets using balloons, cardboard fins and straws then took them outside to race their creations! The children worked brilliantly in their pairs and built some fantastic rockets.

The teamwork the children have shown today has been incredible and it looks like we will have some super scientists and amazing engineers in the future with the problem solving skills the children have shown today.
