Reception News

What another fantastic week we've had. This week the children have been getting to know each other better and learning our classroom routines. They are really enjoying playing both indoor and outdoors and exploring all that is on offer. Take a look at all of the fun they've been having! (Photos below)

Next week we will be starting our topic work This is Me and our Come and See topic Myself. Our curriculum map is posted under the curriculum tab on the home page if you are interested. 

Before the summer holidays, we set the task of sending in a family photo and asked for it to be framed (in either a real frame or a decorated one). We have had some of these come into school already so thank you. If you haven't sent one yet, please could you do so as we will be using these as part of our discussions! 

Reminders

Quick reminder to label all clothing with your child's name - we still have some cardigans and jumpers with no names. Thank you.

Home/School Partnership

We are in the process of setting up a new sharing platform called EvidenceMe. This is an observational tool that allows us to share photos of your child with you and celebrate the things they are doing in school. You will also have the option to share photos and acheivements from home too. To enable us to do this, we will need an up-to-date email address for anyone wanting to access the app. Please could you send your email address to our school email if you haven't already provided school with one. Thank you.
