Come and See

This week we have been thinking about our families and how it feels to be loved. We looked at pictures of our families and talked about how God loves each of us.

Focus Story

This week’s story was Oliver’s Vegetables. The story is about a boy who helps his Grandpa in his vegetable garden. Oliver tastes all the vegetables that Grandpa has grown and realises that vegetables are delicious.  We talked about vegetables that we enjoy eating and thought about vegetables we would like to try. We discovered that we had a vegetable garden outside our class room; we harvested the vegetables and made a yummy soup.

Phonics

This week we have introduced our new sounds (i n m d).  We have been trying hard to blend our sounds and we are also beginning to segment words using our ‘Robot arms’.

Reminders from Mrs Amor...

It’s our Harvest Assembly at 9.30 on Friday 11th October. It would be lovely to see you there. I have sent a home a short song that the children are going to perform, it would be really helpful if you could help your child to learn our  song.

See you all next week.
