Monday 13th July

Date: 13th Jul 2020 @ 8:13am

*Please note that the suggested activities are not compulsory. They should be lots of fun and engaging for your child. Little and often is always best; spending just a few minutes at a time playing the games. All games and activities can be revisited throughout summer.

Today's activities will focus on Physical Development. Physical development is used to develop a child's movement, handling of objects, understanding of their own body and health and levels of self-care.

Pre-writing skills are the fundamental skills children need to develop before they are able to write. These skills contribute to the child's ability to hold and use a pencil, and the ability to draw, write, copy, and colour.

Providing opportunities for children to brush, mop, wash windows, dig in the mud, do the monkey bars, chalk on the floor are really fun and easy ways to develop pre-writing skills.

Good morning children smiley

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Are you ready for some more fun and games?

When you start reception, we will practise getting dressed all by ourselves. How grown up! Have you got your beautiful singing voices ready?  Can you sing along to this song, while you practise getting dressed at home? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GDFa-nEzlg

Can you practise zipping and unzipping your coat?

Can you practise putting your shoes on all by yourself? Can you fasten them too?

If you already have your school uniform, you could practise putting your uniform on! How exciting smiley

Can you practise going to the toilet on your own and washing your hands properly? It is very important that we keep our hands clean, after we use the toilet.

Have a lovely day children. I will wite to you on Wednesday.

Take Care heart

Mrs Amor x
