Miss Wood's blog: week five

In RE this week, we looked at how to be giving and we discussed why it is important to help other people. We have also been preparing for the Easter service at church.

Music

Over the last few months, the children have been rehearsing for a music concert. The children wrote a song all about St Helens during their music lessons with musician Bill. They worked really hard on bringing the song to life with drama and learning the lyrics. The performance was on Saturday at the St Helens Town Hall and it was a huge success! The children had a great time performing on stage with a band. It was a fantastic experience for all the children to be involved in. They were amazing! Thank you very much to everybody involved. Thank you to all the children and their families who attended. It was lovely to see you all there. It was a great evening of music.
