Home Learning Week 2 Day 1

Date: 30th Mar 2020 @ 1:43pm

Good afternoon Year 3

Sorry I'm a little late messaging you today, but I've had lots to sort out in school.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and you managed to get out and about in the sunshine. Did you all have some daily exercise?

I've set you all a ToDo to have a go at on Purple Mash. It asks you to read about Children in Ancient Greece and to write about them. Have a go and I'll get back to you about how well you did. You have until Friday to complete your task.

It is great to see more of the class having a go at Times Tables Rockstars. There are now only 9 children in the class who have yet to have to go. Come on you 9 - you only need to spend 10 mins a day on the App. Timestables will be key to further success in maths in Y4. You have lots of time on your hands now. Why not use it wisely! I will be keeping a check.

My shout out goes to Liam today for his fantastic work on Rockstar. Liam's record sheet tells me that he has managed to collect 8,000 coins and that his response times are super fast. Many of his responses are now 5 seconds and below. Can anyone beat him?

You should all now have read your first book from Serial Mash since your first week is over. If you have finished your book, remember to complete your book review and then choose a new title. Don't forget that David Walliams is still releasing his stories every day too.

I'll be in touch again tomorrow.
