Home Learning Tuesday 31st March

Date: 31st Mar 2020 @ 10:30am

A very good morning to you all, children!

I hope yesterday was a successful day and you are all feeling fab for another terrific Tuesday!

Firstly, well done to Oliver Birch and Molly for sending in their final copies of their diary entries! 😊

Aaaand to James, Molly, Lucy S, Maya and Ben for being the most recent visitors to Times Table Rockstars! Fantastic work, you lot!

There are still 20 of you who haven’t been on the app/website. Come on guys!

COMPETITION TIME!

I posted a blog yesterday (click ‘school blogs’ on the homepage and look for ‘SuperWriters Assemble’) all about a fantastic WRITING COMPETITION that St Helens Libraries are holding for children up to the age of 25!

The idea is, you write a ‘modern’ twist of a traditional fairy tale story in no more than 500 words, and you could win a £50 voucher. There are 3 voucher prizes to be won, and the closing date is Saturday 25th April. You will find the entry form and more information on what you could write about on the blog so go have a look and tell your friends about it!

I feel as though I have bombarded you with so much extra information lately, so the only things I am going to share with you today are:

London Aquarium are showing live videos each week of the sea life they have there, on Facebook, so if you can get on it, why not have a watch?

If you can’t get on to Facebook for that, why not have a go at this endangered sea life drawing activity:

On a final note, if you are in contact with anybody from your class/school, reminding them to check the website blogs/Purple Mash and Times Tables Rockstar would be great! 😊

Stay tuned for more activities tomorrow.

Be happy and stay safe!

Miss Davies 😊
