Highland Games 2019

On Thursday five Year 4 children represented St Mary’s in the Highland Games competition with 8 other schools.  The children’s behaviour was exceptional and they all gave a hundred percent effort.

The children took part in 10 different events including highland steps, shot put, standing long jump, caber and the kiltie dash.  Overall we won the skipping and ‘weight for height throw’.  An extra well done to Molly who won a certificate for best effort for completing 64 jumps in the skipping test.   

Well done to the whole team. St Mary’s and Mrs Cotterill are very proud of you!
