What a wonderful week Health and Wellbeing week has been.  We are so grateful to the staff that have been involved in organising this wonderful week and all the opportunities that we (both staff and children) have been given.  The children have enjoyed zumba, tennis,  cricket, yoga, walking, colouring, singing, circle time, mindfulness as well as enjoying different art activties, learning about diet and the role of a doctor in a busy hospital.

There's a Dr in the house

Dr Barr paid us a visit on Thursday morning, which gave us the opportunity to ask our super, well thought out questions and find out more about life as a real A & E Doctor.

Yoga - it's all about the breathing......laugh

Things were very calm during our yoga session and we all tried really hard with the different poses.  Can you spot the tree pose, Daddy Butterfly pose and chair pose in our photos below?

Climbing Wall and Assault Course:

The children enjoyed a very physical afternoon involving climbing walls and clambering under nets!  It took such strength and determination and many of them had to face their fears.  Mrs Martin made it all the way to the top of the wall.....she was like SUPERWOMAN!

The assault course kept the children being active and they were thrilled to be given an added challenge at the end of carrying a box of balls across the assault course without the balls falling out.  Miss was impressed with the way in the which the children worked as a team and the way that they pulled together!!!!!
