A quick note from Mrs Duffy regarding Y1 snack in September

Date: 29th Jun 2020 @ 5:28pm

Hello Reception Parentssmiley

My name is Mrs Duffy and I am the Year 1 teacher who works Monday –Wednesday.

I just wanted to let you know in advance of September, that in Y1, children should bring their own snacks into school for morning snack time.  In order to encourage healthy eating, snacks in KS1 and KS2 should be a healthy choice e.g. fruit or dried fruit.  A piece of fruit is usually provided by school for every child in the infants.  However, there is only one choice with the fruit provided so if your child wishes to bring their own piece of fruit or healthy snack they are welcome to do so.  The children have 10-15 minutes to eat their snack and drink their milk/water prior to going out to play so they only have enough time to eat one or two items maximum.

I am looking forward to meeting you all in September.

Kind regards

Mrs Duffysmiley
