4th May Home School- Chereponi

Date: 2nd May 2020 @ 4:40pm

Hello everyone! It’s Mrs Ryan here laugh  I hope you are all well and ready for another week of home school.

Over the weekend, I have put together a PowerPoint to help you with your research into the human and physical features of Chereponi. Remember, your challenge was to try and find out about the homes, weather, amenities and land use in this small town in the Northern region of Ghana, Africa. Take a look at the PowerPoint and think about how life in Chereponi compares to life in Billinge. For example, do the houses and roads look the same?

If you would like to find out a bit more about other hot and cold places around the world (for example, Peru, Australia, Finland or Iceland to name a few) then here are some websites that you might find useful. You will need to ask an adult before using the Internet.  Remember, we are interested in exploring the human (man made) and physical (natural) features of these places. You can jot down any interesting findings in your workbooks.

I hope you all enjoy this task. I remember from our ‘Passport to the World’ topic in Autumn term what amazing "Geography Geniuses" you all are.

Have a lovely week and I will speak to you all on Friday.

Take care,

Mrs Ryan heart
